Pre-Algebra Math - Evaluating Roots.  A discussion for find the square root of irrational numbers was lead building on the assignment from yesterday.  Students were instructed to find the natural square root above and below the given root and then using estimation identify to the nearest tenth the value of the square root.  Problems 51-64 were assigned and students had time in class to work on them.  Tomorrow students will have a quiz on Evaluting Square Roots.  HW - finish the daily assignment and study/review for the quiz.

Computer Applications - Microsoft Excel.  Today students continued learning about Microsoft Excel.  Project 1 will have students entering data, formatting the table, applying different cell styles, calculating totals using AutoSum and inserting a 3D chart.  NO HW

7th Grade Math -  Equivalent Fractions.  Using the "Equivalent Fraction Pizza" created yesterday we discussed equivalent fractions, who to simplify and list multiple fractions.  The daily assignment was given and students were asked to list two equivalent fractions for each fraction listed.  HW - Complete problem 1-15.
