Pre-Algebra Math - Constructing Rotations- Students were given a new packet with definitions, tips, hints and examples for Constructing Rotations.  Students were given time in class to work with a partner read, discuss and work on problems 1-6.  Prior to class ending a discussion was held to highlight how to "move points" to construct a rotation and the solutions to problems 1-3 were given.  Students were asked to finish problems 4-6 and attempt problems 7-9 before class on Monday.  Tomorrow will be the Semester Test which will be an open note quiz over selected POD questions from throughout the year.   HW - finish Constructing Rotation problems 4-9

Computer Applications - Microsoft PowerPoint.  Students were given a second day of class to finish their semester test.  Many students finished yesterday so additional time was given for those who needed it.  NO HW

7th Grade Math -  Classifying Polygons. Today students took notes on Classifying Polygons, identifying regular polygons and calculating the interior angle sum of polygons.  All notes are posted in the ride side-bar under 7th Grade Math, with today's date.   NO HW

Pre-Algebra Math - Constructing Reflections - Make-up day to get missing/late assignments turned in.  Last day to turn in work for Q4 will be Tuesday June 2nd.  Semester Test will be Thursday May 28th.   NO HW

Computer Applications - Microsoft PowerPoint.  Students were given the semester test and allowed to begin.  Some students will finish in one day, others may take a couple days.  The semester test in computer applications is open book.  NO HW

Pre-Algebra Math - Constructing Reflections - 10-12 from yesterday were corrected in class, questions were answered and student had the remaining time in class to work on the daily assignment.     HW - Dilate and Reflect problems 13-18

Computer Applications - Microsoft PowerPoint.  MS PowerPoint Project 2 Apply Your Knowledge.  Students were given a new project in which they have to apply skills learned in project 2; inserting a new slide with different layouts, inserting pictures, creating bulleted lists, applying a background style, changing font attributes, applying quick styles, applying a slide transition and printing a handout or outline.  NO HW

7th Grade Math -  Classifying Triangles. Students were allowed to check out a Chromebook and complete activities to classify a triangle by its sides and angles as well as find the measure of a missing angle given the other two angles.   HW - study for Classify Triangle, Missing Angle Quiz tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra Math - Constructing Reflections - Students were introduced to the term Dilation.  A definition and samples of how to dilate an image were given and discussed in class.  Students were then given time in class to Reflect and Dilate images on the coordinate plane.     HW - Dilate and Reflect problems 10-12

Computer Applications - Microsoft PowerPoint.  MS PowerPoint Project 2.  Second and last day to complete MS PowerPoint Proj 2.  NO HW

7th Grade Math -  Classifying Triangles.  Students were given a worksheet to practice classifying triangles by their sides and angles.  A second worksheet was given in which students need to find the missing angle of a triangle when given two angle measures.  These assignments will be graded at the beginning of class on Thursday.   HW - finish triangle worksheets if not completed in class.

Pre-Algebra Math - Constructing Reflections - Students were given a new packet and introduced to Reflections.  Sample problems were solved together in front of the class and then students had time in class to practice their new knowledge.   HW - constructing reflections 1-9

Computer Applications - Microsoft PowerPoint.  MS PowerPoint Project 2.  Students will learn to apply transitions, change the background, insert an image, insert differing type of slide layouts, and use quick formatting styles.  NO HW

7th Grade Math -  Classifying Triangles.  Students were given two worksheets to practice classifying triangle by their sides and angles.  Most students finished in class.  NO HW

Pre-Algebra Math - Increasing, Decreasing, Linear Functions - Sample homework problems were solved and modeled on the board to show how to locate the Local Max and Local Min and also how to identify when a given function is increasing or decreasing.   HW - problems 13-24

7th Grade Math -  Classifying Triangles.  Students took notes on how to classify triangles by sides, angles and interior angles.  Following notes and a discussion a worksheet was provided for students to apply this knowledge and classify 4 triangles.  The worksheet was corrected and reviewed before class was excused.  NO HW
