How to be successful in 7th Grade Math & Pre-Algebra
These are the expectations in Mr. Specht's room and they fit in with the High Fives of KMS which are listed below.
- Be respectful
- follow the Golden Rule - treat others as you would want to be treated
- leave others belongings and property the way you found it
- Be responsible
- come to class prepared
- complete assigned work and turn it in on time
- be accountable for what you do
- Accept that you are going to make mistakes. Learn from them and move on.
- Be the best person you can be.
How to get a passing grade or raise your grade.
- Complete all homework assignments and turn in.
- Homework will be accepted up to one week past the original due date.
- Correct homework for 1/2 credit.
- Any homework in which the student scores a C- (7/10) or less can be corrected for 1/2 credit. Corrections need to be on a new sheet of paper and stapled to the original so I can see if you learned from you mistakes or continue to make errors.
- Retake any quiz which you earn 70% or less on to show proficiency.
