Pre-Algebra Math - Solving Equations with Rational Numbers.  Students were randomly selected to go to the board to solve and explain the 4 homework problems from yesterday.  Following I demonstrated the how students were to solve today's assignment as well as explaining the purpose.  Students were asked to copy down my example as a reference when solving their problems.  Students are to solve the homework problems using a T-Chart.  On the left side the students are to solve the problem showing each step of their work.  On the right side of the T-Chart students are to explain what, why and how they did what they did on the left side.  The goal is to build a deeper level of understanding while requiring students to write using descriptive examples thus reinforcing their writing skills.  HW - Pg 138 6-9 all.

Computer Applications - Microsoft Word. Today students were given a study guide for the upcoming quiz over chapter 2.  Students had the time in class to work on the study guide, ask questions, compare their answers to the answer key and work on any missing assignments.  HW - study for quiz on Thursday

7th Grade Math -  Least Common Multiple. Yesterday's assignment was corrected and collected.  Students then checked out a Chromebook and completed a list of pre-approved activities (videos, lesson, problems and games) to practice solving LCM in preparation for the LCM Quiz tomorrow.  HW - study for the LCM Quiz Wednesday.
