Pre-Algebra Math - Evaluating Roots. The homework assignment was reviewed in class and a discussion on roots and square roots. Students then checked out Chromebooks and were asked to complete some practice problems on a new website, Buzzmath, related to squares and square roots. NO HWComputer Applications - Microsoft Word. Students were given a terms study guide and portfolio study guide of what to study for the upcoming MS Word Test over Chapters 1-3 which will be on Friday. HW - study terms and elements of Word for the upcoming MS Word Test
7th Grade Math - Fractions, Decimals & Percents. A number of students failed the quiz from yesterday. Today was a retake day, a discussion and review of converting fractions to decimals to percents was led and the quiz from yesterday was reviewed. Following students who failed were given the opportunity to practice and show understanding of the concept and if time allowed to do a retake during class. Students who did not complete the retake during class will have to do so on their own time; before school, after school or during lunch, to show proficiency. NO HW
