Pre-Algebra Math - Rational Numbers.  Yesterday's homework was corrected and collected in class.  I am tried something new today for assessing students understanding.  Each student checked out their Chromebook and completed a Quiz on Think Through Math.  If the student demonstrated proficiency by passing the quiz with an 80% or higher they given a list of activities to chose from.  If the student did not show proficiency on the assessment they had to go through some steps to relearn and practice the skill of dividing rational numbers.  NO HW

Computer Applications - Microsoft Word. Today was a Catch-Up Day.  The printer issues from yesterday were resolved so students were able to print project 1 if it was completed.  Students who were not yet finished had time in class to complete the assignment and any other assignments.  NO HW 

7th Grade Math -  Greatest Common Factor. Yesterday's homework was reviewed and discussed.  The daily assignment was given and students had time in class to work on the two worksheets.  The first of which had much of the work completed, to model for students how to create a factor tree and list the prime factors for a set of numbers.  All students have to do is identify the groups of common factors and multiply those groups to find the GCF.  The second worksheet lists two numbers which students need to find the GCF.  On this worksheet they are required to create a factor trees, list the prime factors and use those lists to determine the GCF; problems 1-9.   HW - finish the two worksheets assigned in class.
