Pre-Algebra Math - A review of Rational Numbers was held at the beginning of class.  Students were told to review the notes they took prior to Semester Test week to refresh their memory.  The daily assignment was handed out and students had the majority of class to complete the assignment, which will be due on Wednesday January 28th as I will be in meetings tomorrow and students will have a substitute.  HW - finish WS 3-1 if not finished in class.

Computer Applications - New students today as the second semester began.  The parent letter was send home for parents to read and sign.  How and what will be taught in this class was discussed along with expectation and grading.  HW - take home parent letter and return signed

7th Grade Math -  Starting the 3rd quarter we will begin learning about Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiples.  To better assist students and prepare them to learn about factors and shortcuts students were given a Divisibility Rules Handout they will be encouraged to use on assignments for the next several weeks.  These rules were discussed and modeled in class and students were asked to apply the rules by listing numbers that would make each rule true.  NO HW
