Pre-Algebra Math - Scientific Notation.  Using the Chromebooks students were provided a list of approved resources with information about Scientific Notation.  Students were asked to research the websited to collect information and then answer questions provided to them through a Google Doc.  The goal is for them to learn to be critical readers to gather information that will help them learn about Scientific Notation.  NO HW

Computer Applications - MS PowerPoint.  Today students continued working on MS PowerPoint Project 1.  NO HW

7th Grade Math -  Dividing Decimals by Decimals.  Students completed a KWL before taking notes.  This is a tool used for students to reflect on what they know (prior knowledge), what they would like to know (weaknesses or curiousity they may have about the topic) and what they learned (reflection on new information).  There writings were shared and discussed to drive the conversation and taking notes on dividing decimals by decimals.   NO HW
