Computer Applications - These students worked on proper keyboarding using the All The Right Type program. It is important for students to have proper keyboarding technique as this class will require much data entry in addition to learning how to format and customize a variety of Microsoft programs.
7th Grade Math - Today students started POD (Problem of the Day). This is a daily math problem that they need to copy to the POD section of their binder (which were also set up today). The goals of the POD are to have math problems that encourage problem solving strategies, help prepare them for the end of the year test (ISAT/SBAC), and allow them to solve a problem in a risk free format, as the POD is not graded daily. Binders were also setup today and a few classroom procedures were reviewed and discussed.
